Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our amazing corporate team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS FT. In this pivotal role, you will provide strong leadership to the Corporate Governance, Risk & Assurance Team, responsible for delivery of best corporate governance practice and the Trust's Risk Management Policy/Risk Management Framework. You will have an in-depth professional knowledge of corporate governance structures, procedures and practice in relation to the health and social care sector and, ideally, have experience of governance in system working. You will use this knowledge to support the interaction between the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors and across the different Board Committees and contribute to ensuring actions from these are followed through. You will also lead on the development of arrangements for the Council of Governors, including managing the Membership Office, ensuring that it fulfills its statutory responsibilities. Main duties of the job We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our dynamic team. You will be required to liaise closely and effectively with internal colleagues as well as with external partners in order to deliver a range of functions including supporting key corporate meetings, risk management and managing conflicts of interest.
