Adults Wellbeing Advisor Liverpool 03/02/2025 – 2 months initially Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 35 hrs/week Respond to communications from the public whilst ensuring the service is meetings its Care Act duties Listen and understand the nature of the persons queries to ensure correct information and advice is given Identify needs and risks and provide first contact resolutions to people through information that is focused on identifying their strengths and meets their needs Identify where a person is deemed at risk and ensure compliance with Safeguarding Adults procedures and Making Safeguarding Personal guidance Provide information, advice and guidance to enable people to self-assess and plan support to enable their wellbeing Connect people to support available within their own community Recommend the use of simple technology enabled care and equipment to promote independence, where appropriate Diffuse difficult situations to the best that you can to achieve positive outcomes Maintain sound knowledge of local resources and services, to offer accurate, current information to people Apply the prevent, reduce, delay principles of the Care Act to promote independence and wellbeing Ensure all information is recorded and maintained Requirements Working knowledge of IT applications Experience of taking accurate minutes or detailed report writing Excellent written and verbal communications skills Adult DBS registered to the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services in an equal opportunities employer.
