Description What You'll Do We seek an experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and network design relating to VoIP and related technologies and protocols. This individual will design and develop highly efficient code for software solutions that complement, customize and/or extend the capabilities of Oracle Communications products; configure and troubleshoot systems; provide follow-on support for open issues; and create and execute test plans for deployments of these software solutions. The successful candidate will operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement; perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs; demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements; act as the team lead on projects; and effectively consult with management of customer organizations, and participate in business development activities. This candidate will also assist with the mentoring and cross-training of fellow Consultants in various areas of technology. What You'll Bring Excellent coding and scripting skills and experience in alignment with Agile software development methodologies Expertise coding/scripting in Javascript and J2EE Expertise in Java automation and Testing Frameworks Expertise developing and delivering solutions in Linux environments Good experience interfacing with third party applications using technologies such as XML and REST Expert knowledge of functional, performance testing in telecom core network nodes in Linux environment. Expert level command of SIP protocol/applications/interfaces; detailed knowledge of SIP RFC 3261 and other complementary RFCs Consulting, implementation, architectural design, and use case requirement analysis skills and experience in the enterprise voice and video space Good to expert knowledge of and experience with Oracle Converged Applications Server or with Oracle WebLogic platform. Good knowledge and extended experience of data communications concepts including network architecture, TCP/IP, SNMP, NTP, SCTP and troubleshooting of these Candidate must possess impeccable communications skills (verbal and written) and strong customer management skills.
