Job Summary
To deliver a quality service through the provision of a diverse range of administrative duties within the Cardiology Department and Cardiac Investigations Unit. To provide support to all clinics while ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity at all times.
The role is required in the following departments: Cardiac Investigations Unit, Cardiology Outpatients, and Friarage Cardiology Department.
Main Duties of the Job
Booking appointments, filing, checking demographic details, locating and requesting notes, processing incoming/outgoing mail, managing and reconciling clinics, maintaining and updating department databases, and various modes of communication.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
* Confident user of Microsoft Office Packages/computer systems
* Conversant with secretarial procedures/administrative processes within the NHS

* Previous use of hospital IT systems
* Experience with Cardiology Booking Systems
* Previous customer-facing roles
Qualifications
Essential
* GCSEs in English and Maths - A-C or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
* NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent work experience
