Junior Compliance Officer - Marketing

Reporting into the Compliance Manager, the Junior Compliance Officer will hold a key position in Marketing Compliance, residing within the wider Compliance department. They will ensure that marketing campaigns across the business are in line with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
Flutter UK&I invest heavily in marketing communications to support brand growth across many markets, products and media channels. This includes Sportsbook, eGaming, and Retail Marketing campaigns for our Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting and Gaming brands.
It is fundamental to the reputation, sustainability and success of our business that each marketing campaign, no matter how large or small, is aligned with the advertising regulations set out for our industry.
What you'll do
1. Design and deliver marketing compliance training and development programmes.
2. Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure all relevant areas of the business understand and implement those changes effectively, and in a timely manner.
3. Building and Maintaining relationships with internal partners including those at manager level.
4. Lead and periodically review the Compliance approval process, ensuring it remains a sufficiently robust control.
5. Work closely with internal teams to deliver compliance guidance and foster a collaborative approach to securing compliance.
6. Test current marketing compliance AdTech controls, report on performance and provide support and guidance to expedite remedial action where necessary.
7. Be accountable for fostering a culture of ownership and continual improvement.
8. Handle external regulatory relationships.
How you'll do it
1. Ability to handle time management and multitask.
2. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
3. A proactive approach with excellent prioritization skills.
4. The ability to drive your own development to continually improve performance.
5. Naturally collaborative, with a desire to be part of a high performing team.
6. An excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and PC/Mac OS operating system.
7. Project management experience will be an advantage.
8. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders of all levels so you will need to be adaptable and able to communicate effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Experience of working within a regulated environment is advantageous.
