As the Logistics and Procurement Administrator / Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement and logistics functions within the Operational Ship Management team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Handle requests for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, and services for vessels.
2. Good understanding of procurement principles, techniques, and practices in a professional setting.
3. First-hand knowledge of international freight regulations and ship spares in transit.
4. International experience and experience of arranging transport for collection.
5. Understanding of on-time delivery, cost, and quality through the successful actions of the supply chain.
6. Experience in use of Microsoft packages.
7. Good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar procurement or logistics role.
2. Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes, ideally within the maritime or shipping industry.
3. Knowledge of customs regulations and international freight operations is highly desirable.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
