Main Duties:
Teaching sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study and also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods which includes Wrap Around Care. Improving child development and fitness through high delivery standards.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:30. 35 hours per week. Occasional hours at weekend.

Responsibilities of an Activity Professional:
- To plan and deliver a range of innovative coaching sessions
- To set up and deliver high quality sports/dance teaching to young people
- Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active and healthy lifestyles, improving fitness
- To teach lessons in line with Ofsted criteria and the PE national curriculum
Requirements to be an Activity Professional:
- Own transport as you will be required to travel to a variety of schools
- Self motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching sport and/or dance
- Previous experience in a school environment would be highly beneficial
- Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and deemed safe to work with children
