We are looking for a dynamic supportive individual to join the medical day case team in an administrative role. The role is to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective appointment booking system. Provide excellent customer service to all service users and ensure that the unit runs smoothly and efficiently.
This post is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
The main purpose of this role will be:
To provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective appointment booking service to meet the Trust’s patient waiting times targets. To liaise with other stakeholders to ensure good, well organised patient experiences.
The post holder will be required to provide excellent customer service to all service users, ensuring that they are always polite and courteous.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of their own workload and will be expected to develop and maintain up to date knowledge of all service specialities included within the medical day case unit activity, which will enable them to deal with any unit related queries. This is a multi – skilled and multi – tasked role, and therefore the post holder will be expected to have good knowledge and understanding of the procedures offered on the unit. The role would be well suited to an individual with a healthcare assistant background.
