Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Data Analyst to support our Supply Chain Director in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data analysis, a couple of years of experience post-university, and an engineering or STEM degree. This role involves dual reporting to both the Supply Chain Director and Divisional Finance Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analytics and Trend Analysis: Utilise advanced data analytics techniques to analyse trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and optimise supply chain operations.
2. Spend Aggregation and Tracking: Aggregate and analyse spend data across different business units to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
3. Savings Tracking: Monitor and report on cost savings initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Implement and utilise the latest data analytics tools and technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making. Work closely with supply chain and finance teams to ensure data insights are actionable and aligned with business goals.
4. Reporting and Communication: Develop and present reports to senior leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost reduction, supplier performance, and inventory management.
5. Exploration of AI Applications: Show curiosity and interest in exploring how AI can enhance supply chain operations, including predictive analytics, demand forecasting, and inventory optimisation.
Education:
* Engineering or STEM degree from a reputable university.
Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a supply chain or related field.
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Experience with data management systems and ability to learn new technologies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Curiosity about AI and its applications in manufacturing and supply chain, with a willingness to explore and implement AI-driven solutions.
