About the Job
We are seeking to appoint a Technician in Simulation & Immersive Technologies to contribute to the continued growth and success of the School of Health, Sport & Bioscience at the University of East London. You will work closely with the Hospital and Primary Care Training Hub Manager for the day-to-day operation of the skills and simulation rooms and workshops, ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of their area of responsibility. This includes consumable organisation, teaching sessions set up, demonstrating the use of equipment, ensuring equipment is regularly maintained and clearing up the area after use.
About You
You will have a good standard of general education including a degree or have extensive relevant experience in healthcare simulation and immersive technologies, with commitment to a career as a higher education technician. You must be able to demonstrate that you have current knowledge and experience of working in a simulation environment in either Higher Education or NHS settings. You will also have good organisational skills with the ability to complete a task effectively and efficiently.
You will have good organisation and communication skills, commitment to customer service, be a good team player, willing to work flexibly to changing timetables and work patterns and have a drive for excellence in everything that you do.
