Are you a dynamic, knowledgeable individual passionate about making a difference in mental health support? Join our Derbyshire Living Well service as a Wellbeing Coach and become part of a team dedicated to transforming mental health care in Derbyshire.
In this unique role, you will support and motivate individuals to enhance their mental health by helping them develop self-care skills, build resilience, and better utilize community resources. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of individuals with multifaceted needs and complex mental illness, and who is resilient enough to tackle daily challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and motivate individuals to improve their mental health.
* Help clients develop self-care skills and build resilience.
* Assist clients in accessing and utilizing community resources.
* Collaborate with Living Well teams, Derbyshire Recovery & Peer Support team, and Rethink Mental Illness.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A strong understanding of individuals with multifaceted needs and complex mental illness.
* Ability to face challenges on a daily basis with resilience.
* Motivated by the potential to make a significant impact on individuals and their communities.
Service / Team Description:
The Derbyshire Recovery & Peer Support service provides recovery services to people in the community, supporting them in long-term recovery through peer activity. The Living Well Hubs, in collaboration with the NHS Trust, focus on peer support development and training. The service includes an over-service contract manager and managers located across Derbyshire who support teams of coaches, including those with lived experience.
*Appointments will be at the minimum of the band.
*London Allowance is paid for roles that are based within the Greater London area only.
