As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join our team at our Dartford facility. Role Overview As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each vehicle is restored to its original condition, with a focus on precision and quality. Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming. Mix paint colours to match the original vehicle colour using advanced colour-matching techniques. Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring an even and flawless finish. Carry out minor bodywork repairs as required before painting. Inspect and polish finished paintwork to achieve a high-quality, factory-standard finish. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Requirements Proven experience as a Paint Technician in the automotive repair industry. High level knowledge of paint application processes and techniques. Ability to mix and match colours accurately. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Significant understanding of health and safety regulations related to painting and refinishing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in automotive painting or refinishing (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
