Role description:
Our Intern & Placement programme is designed to give you a hands-on insight into the work we do as a company and help to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, the programme is based on Arcadis core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your 1012-week internship or 12 month placement.
Role accountabilities:
As a project manager, youll be working within a diverse team, cultivating a deep understanding of our sectors, building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, and finding ways to improve ways in which we work. Youll be responsible for your monitoring progress of project work, liaising with clients, implementing timely resolution to issues, identifying risks in the delivery, coordinating with contractors and given every opportunity to build your skillsets.
1. Accepted Degrees: BSc or MSc Construction or Engineering related degree such as Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management. We also will consider those from a non-relevant background, including courses such as Law, Management and Business-related degrees.
Qualifications & Experience:
2. You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject
3. You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
4. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
5. Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
