As a Parts Advisor you will reporting to the Parts Manager to support the Customer requirements both internal and external. In this role you advise all colleagues and customer on parts, accessories and collection items. You are the competent person for the selection and ordering of parts over both the workshop customer counter and in the call centre. You advise customers and Technicians in compiling individual parts packages and accessories offered as part of service and or parts campaigns, therefore you work closely with colleagues of the parts procurement to ensure that parts are available at all times. Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor / Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor / Back Counter Parts Advisor / Vehicle Parts Advisor / Parts Sales Advisor / Parts Assistant / Parts Supervisor / Automotive Parts Advisor / Aftersales Advisor : Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location. Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need. Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner. Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date. Informing customers of any current specials. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the Companys Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors. Skills and Qualifications of a Parts Advisor / Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor / Back Counter Parts Advisor / Vehicle Parts Advisor / Parts Sales Advisor / Parts Assistant / Parts Supervisor / Automotive Parts Advisor / Aftersales Advisor : One or more years of Parts experience in automotive. One or more years related experience in a commercial parts department preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Professional appearance and work ethic.
