Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Graduate Construction Site Manager with experience in multi-utilities to oversee and manage construction activities. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating personnel, contractors, and site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, promoting a culture of safety, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Duties and Responsibilities Project Management: Supervise and manage projects to deliver safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance. Conduct site inspections, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards. Address and resolve issues on-site, taking corrective action where necessary. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Lead by example to promote a culture of zero harm and an Injury-Free Environment (IFE). Ensure site operatives have the correct and current qualifications and competencies for their roles. Conduct incident reporting, investigations, and ensure close-out of remedial actions. Team Leadership and Communication: Foster team collaboration and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team briefs. Participate in planning meetings to allocate competent resources for workload requirements. Ensure effective communication of company objectives and performance standards. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and claims in a professional manner. Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, clients, and supply chain partners. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate site records, including audits, inductions, and reports. Ensure timely submission of required data, forms, and records. Monitor and report on project performance, addressing gaps in targets or KPIs. Skills and Experience: Previous experience in multi-utilities and site management (SMSTS Qualified). Proven ability to lead site teams and drive performance. Working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and statutory regulations. Experience in safely and compliantly delivering construction works. Strong understanding and commitment to delivering customer satisfaction. Competence in influencing and controlling project costs. CSCS Slinger/Signaler qualification. NRSWA Supervisor qualification. Current UK driving license. Desirable Qualifications Temporary Works Appointed Person (or Temporary Works Supervisor). Confined Spaces qualification. Deep Excavation qualification. Working at Height appreciation. IOSH/NEBOSH certification. UMSTS/SMSTS. NRSWA Supervisor. Blue Card Water Hygiene & Thames Water Passport. NERWS Accreditation. Cat & Genny Trained. Lifting AP qualification (preferred but not essential).
