C0007 Teaching Assistant – Level 1 Lady’s Catholic Primary School Salary: Band D4 - 5 £20,123.03 Fixed Term: End date 31st July 2025 Hours: 32.5 hrs About Us & The Role Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work as part of our experienced team. The successful applicant should have a strong interest in supporting the teaching and learning and be able to assist in the delivery and assessment of our curriculum across KS2. A keen interest in Sports, Coaching and PE is desirable. Additional duties include; assisting in the delivery of lessons, supporting individual pupils and teachers. The post will include the supervision of the children over the lunch time period. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, able and willing to work in any part of the school. The successful applicant is subject to a six-month probationary period. KEY REQUIREMENTS: • Experience preferred, of working with children. • Experience preferred, of working with additional educational needs. • Commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and motivating children to learn. • Confidence providing support utilising good literacy and numeracy skills. • An ability to be fair, apply equal opportunities at all times and understand the importance of confidentially. • Have a commitment to the aims and core values of the catholic school and maintain positive ethos. • Committed to ongoing personal professional development.
