About the Role This role involves supporting HR administration, including payroll processing, onboarding compliance, inductions, probationary reviews and maintaining employee records. Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to; To administer the processing of payroll i.e. expense claims, overtime, changes to working patterns and salary reviews. To produce salary review letters. Compliance management for onboarding candidates. Undertaking pre-employment checks and ensuring documentation is completed as per the Recruitment policy. Inclusive of DBS check, References and Right to Work checks. Involvement in the induction process for new starters. To support the coordination of the probationary review process. Assisting with the internal communications, ensuring documentation is completed and returned and administering probation outcome letters. Maintenance of the HR database, ensuring employee records and compliance are updated. Undertaking DBS renewals and processing amendments to personal data. Person Specification A good understanding of compliance Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. High attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Excellent time management with the ability to organise, create and prioritise own work schedule. Setting realistic and attainable time schedules. Experience of using MS Office packages, in particular Excel. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn HR practices, with no specific qualifications required. As a junior-level position, it focuses on administrative tasks, including possible minute-taking, running payroll on spreadsheets, and letter writing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a solid understanding of compliance and confidentiality.
