Job Advert: Pharmacist (Community Pharmacy)
We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our busy community pharmacy, conveniently located alongside a doctor’s surgery. Theatre Royal Pharmacy is owned by the Partners of Theatre Royal Surgery and led by Pharmacist Jovin Mulloor who has years of experience within this pharmacy and the Dereham area.
Key Details:
* Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
* Flexibility: The successful candidate may be required to work at our online pharmacy branch on occasion.
* Salary: £55k+ depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication administration, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
* Conduct thorough medication reviews to ensure appropriateness for each patient's condition.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care settings, such as ICU, to develop comprehensive medication management plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication therapy.
* Educate patients on health management strategies and promote wellness initiatives within the community.
* Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective medication management.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
* Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
