Niyaa People are delighted to be supporting a Housing Association to source a Development Officer, on a permanent basis.
The Development Officer is a new role in the organisation, sitting under the Head of Development, helping deliver an excellent development programme.
Development Officer duties:
1. Ensure all development files are up to date with Homes England requirements
2. Support during the handover process and attending all handovers
3. Produce development appraisals, and provide administrative support to the Head of Development
4. Create and process all purchase orders and deal with all enquiries
5. Set up and attend monthly cashflow meetings, and check and pay all invoices
6. Arrange signing of contracts/deeds/warranties by email or posting hard copies
To succeed as the Development Officer, you need:
1. Experience of working within a development department of a housing association or local authority
2. Knowledge of Homes England funding requirements
3. Basic understanding of Proval or similar development software
4. Building technical knowledge and experience
