Managerial Responsibilities and Service Development:- To provide support and clinical guidance to the project teams. To lead on Trust QI initiatives as directed by the Clinical Lead and Inpatient Transformation SRO. To facilitate learning environments for the ward project teams and other learners in conjunction with the Clinical Lead to ensure effective roll out of the Culture of Care programme on the 4 wards taking part.Clinical:- Under the clinical supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist, and appropriate to level of knowledge, experience and training To assist in the psychological assessment of adults with complex mental health needs, using a range of assessment methodologies, including psychometric and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, direct and indirect structured observations, semi-structured interviews, screening tools and routine outcome measures. To assist in the development of psychological formulation of adults with complex mental health needs to inform individual and / or team intervention. To deliver psychological interventions, through 1:1 and/or group sessions, to adults with complex mental health needs. To assist with group preparation, administrative tasks and evaluations when group interventions are delivered. To assist members of the multi-disciplinary team in implementing psychologically informed interventions. To be involved in writing co-produced care plans with members of the multi-disciplinary teams, service users and carers and to write clinical reports, tailored to a range of audiences, including service users and their carers. To assist the Clinical Psychologists in the delivery of psychological interventions at a systemic level, including psychological consultancy and training To work collaboratively with a range of staff from the multi-disciplinary team and other service providers to assess needs and formulate action plans along directorate care pathways. To attend and contribute as appropriate to multi-disciplinary meetings trough verbal and written methods of communication including handover, clinical team meetings and clinical discussion groups. To assist with the encouragement of service user involvement and participation.Research, Service Evaluation, Audit and QI:- To take lead using existing and / or new processes for evaluating clinical discussion groups and to produce posters, and possibly reports, to highlight service user and staff feedback. These will be shared with staff within the care hub and senior managers To assist in the design and implementation of audit and research projects. To undertake searches of evidence-based literature and research to assist in applying evidence-based practice to the service user group. To undertake data collection, data analysis and the production of reports and summaries using IT and statistical programmes.
