Vickerstock are working in partnership with a civil and structural engineering firm on the appointment of a Health & Safety Coordinator.
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will prepare documentation as part of the Principal Designer duties in accordance with the CDM Regulations, reviewing Health & Safety information from Designers and Contractors with occasional site Health & Safety inspections.

In your new role:
* Assist in the delivery of the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations
* Liaise with Design Team Members, Contractors, Clients
* Provide CDM and H&S advice to project team members
* Prepare Pre-Construction Information and H&S Files
* Review Contractors’ Construction Phase Plans
* Represent the company at Design Team / Client meetings
* Complete site H&S inspections
What you will need to succeed:
* Relevant experience in a similar role
* NEBOSH General or Construction certification
* Awareness of Health & Safety / CDM legislation
* Knowledge and experience of CDM regulations
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
* Full clean driving license and access to transport
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
* Membership of accredited industry body (IOSH)
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* Civil or Structural Engineering background
