Job summary This role within our Spinal Surgery Team is intended for a surgeon working at the equivalent of ST6-8 and will allow the appointed doctor to gain further experience in an orthopaedic setting along with providing an environment to increase publications. This is not an approved HEE training post however training and education provision will be provided with an Educational and Clinical Supervisor. On normal working days, the allocation of regular commitments will be aligned to Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon's timetables. The post holder will be required to participate in the duty rota for the Orthopaedic Specialist Registrars, which includes the following full shifts on rotation with their colleagues During the period of the fixed term contract, you would be required to work; one weekend on call, 4 twilight shifts, and 2 blocks of night shifts (4 consecutive shifts per block).
