The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in aligning financial strategies with the overall corporate objectives and ensuring financial stability and growth for a company that exports to over 45 different countries.
The role:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Develop and implement financial plans, conduct budget processes, and forecasts aligned with corporate goals.
2. Conduct thorough financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement and optimisation cost reduction in all areas of the company.
3. Collaborate with the corporate team to develop and execute financial strategies/policies.
4. Ensure that the monthly accounting closings prepared by the team comply with accounting standards and group requirements.
5. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for both local and corporate stakeholders.
Treasury & Financing Management:
1. Supervise and control accounts receivables to ensure collections from customers.
2. Operations management of all bank accounts including monitoring balances and transactions.
3. Maintain and update the bank contact list, bank conditions & limit reports.
4. Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet payment obligations.
5. Coordinate with corporate for financing management.
6. Manage non-reversal factoring.
7. Lead and develop the finance team, including coordination with external local contractors for tax, payroll, and accountancy standards.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with local taxation, accounting, and legal requirements.
2. Prepare statements, internal controls, reviews, financial standards, and audits.
3. Propose and implement new and amended control procedures aligned with corporate growth.
