The post is a specialist role working in a highly demand led environment. The post holder will proactively engage with members of the public, businesses, trade representatives for the purposes of protecting the safety and welfare of the public who live, work and visit Shropshire. The post holder will undertake regulatory, business support and enforcement duties with a particular focus on key Licensing functions. The post holder under direction but working outside normal hours with minimal supervision, be responsible for the effective delivery of regulatory and enforcement priorities through operational service and action plans, projects, risk-based inspection, criminal investigation and client management in order to achieve public protection outcomes and meet quality and performance standards.
