Here at Nothing, we're building a world where tech is fun again. Remember a time where every new product made you excited? We're bringing that back.
To get there we're gathering the creative and the curious. Those that are passionate enough to question the old and embrace the new. In return, you'll be part of a movement. Contributing to a global ecosystem of products that bring joy to people's lives.
In less than four years, we’ve sold over 3 million products worldwide, including Phone (1), which was listed on Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2022 for Innovative Smartphone Design. In 2023, we released two second-generation products: the powerful audio companion Ear (2) and the highly anticipated Phone (2), marking our US debut.
We also launched CMF by Nothing, our sub-brand focused on making wonderful design accessible to all. In March 2024, we welcomed our third smartphone, Phone (2a). A powerfully unique device that enables even more people to experience the best of Nothing innovation.
A few weeks later in April 2024, we welcomed our new audio line-up. Introducing Ear, our best-ever audio experience, and Ear (a); the brightest, most vivid new member of the Nothing family.

The Role:
Nothing is seeking a highly motivated 3D Artist to join our innovative creative team. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in technology and design, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking smartphone and audio products that challenge the status quo.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the creative and design team to bring our products to life.
2. Design and produce high-quality, production-ready 3D assets that align with Nothing’s design philosophy. This includes full look development, full products and components, textures, and other product-related visuals.
3. Work in collaboration with out external 3D partners, providing feedback and approvals.
4. Follow established production pipelines to ensure that 3D assets are optimised for performance and seamlessly integrated into the final products.
5. Demonstrate strong proficiency in 3D modelling, with a focus on creating efficient, high-quality assets suitable for smartphone and audio devices.
6. Maintain a solid understanding of PBR workflows and apply this knowledge to create realistic and innovative designs.
7. Utilise your understanding of 2D design to develop concepts and refine them into 3D models when needed.
8. Stay current with the latest design trends, particularly within consumer electronics, to ensure Nothing remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements:
9. - Expertise in 3D modelling software, such as 3DS MAX, Blender, or similar.
10. - Proven ability to create efficient, high-quality 3D assets for use in consumer electronics.
11. - Familiarity with custom shaders and their application in product design.
12. - Strong understanding of PBR workflows and their implementation in product visualisation.
13. - Excellent grasp of graphic design principles and the ability to translate them into 3D space.
14. - Passionate about creating products that blend technology and art.
