Role Summary
We are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our client's team in Milton Keynes. As a senior member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the food operation, working closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and serving meals;
* Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment;
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment;
* Develop and implement new recipes and menus;
* Train and supervise junior staff members;
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior kitchen role;
* A proven track record of leadership and management;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* An Enhanced DBS check; and
* Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
