We are recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
Required for February 2025
Salary range: Level 2, Grade 3 (SCP3-4) £22737-£23114 FTE (term time only pro rata)
32.5 hours per week, term time only + 5 training days.
The Local Governing Body is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, who will work alongside colleagues to help shape the future of our school as it moves forward.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Is a committed Catholic or committed to enhancing the Catholic life and mission of the school;
2. To supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities;
3. Has a good level of skill in literacy and numeracy;
4. Is positive and flexible and has the ability to work as part of a team;
5. Has experience or is confident to work with all ages within the primary phase;
6. Works well under direction, but also shows initiative and can take ownership of tasks;
7. Supporting individual children/small groups to access personalised learning within and beyond the classroom under the direction of the Class Teacher.
