Overview
The Role In A Nutshell
MSL is looking for a dynamic, energetic corporate communications Account Director to join our ambitious, fast-growing and fast-paced corporate team.
You’ll love current affairs, new challenges, new business and the opportunity to make an impact at work. You will have experience working across industry sectors, believe in purpose-led communications and know how to craft compelling stories and campaigns which engage target audiences across traditional and digital platforms.
You could be an established Senior Account Manager looking to take a step-up or a new Account Director that feels ready for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
Key Skills & Responsibilities
1. Strong, capable leadership of the team and clients, working closely with the senior team and Managing Partner to achieve results.
2. Knowledgeable on current affairs, our clients' sectors and the issues/themes affecting businesses and their reputations. Uses knowledge to craft high-impact communications and campaigns.
3. Lead key corporate client accounts, engaging in strategic dialogue to influence the quality of briefs and identify revenue / new business opportunities.
4. Experienced across corporate communications services – including media relations, executive positioning, sustainability communications, messaging and narrative – and deliver integrated campaigns and approaches.
5. Strategic mindset, able to devise and build relevant campaigns which reflect the economical, political, environmental and business landscape. Challenges clients and teams to think differently to achieve impact.
6. Take the lead in new business development, through organic growth and pitching to prospects to secure commercial growth.
7. Establish a sustainable and profitable team structure, fostering an environment of ongoing learning, recognition of success, and reward for great work.
8. Experienced in reputation management and crisis communications.
