Position: Year 4 Primary Teacher
Location: Outskirts of Southampton, Hampshire
Contract Duration: At least one Term (Spring 2025) and potentially until the end of the academic year
Contract Type: Long term supply / potential fixed term contract
Salary: Paid to scale and depending on experience and qualifications
About the role
Manaba are delighted to be working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Junior school on the outskirts of Southampton, Hampshire who have a full-time requirement for an experienced Year 4 class Teacher from January 2025.
Ideally you will be able to work full-time but 4 days a week may also be considered for the right applicant, however you must be able to work every Tuesday as there is allocated PPA time (team planning). We are looking for an experienced primary teacher who is able to demonstrate an ability to teach engaging lessons, and build lasting relationships with the pupils. You will have full classroom teaching responsibilities including attending staff meetings and training, and also conduct parents evenings.
Responsibilities for the role of Year 4 Primary Teacher
* Have a versatile approach to teaching, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
* You will be an effective collaborator with all staff, visitors, and other agencies.
* You will have a working knowledge of safeguarding, ensuring any concerns are reported.
* To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the schools.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* DBS Enhanced Disclosure
* A minimum of two teaching references, plus one from your most recent employer
* A passion and good knowledge for working with local primary schools to help maintain standards
* Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
