Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to undertaken established, well regarded Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship. The successful candidate will join a team of Orthopaedic professionals who remain committed to that culture of innovation today. The department has over 50 Consultant Surgeons covering the full range of Trauma & Orthopaedics, making it one of the largest UK centres. It is a tertiary referral centre for all sub-specialities except spinal services. It is the Level One Major Trauma Centre for Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man. All the surgeons are passionate about what they do and keen to develop you and your knowledge. Main duties of the job The post will be based at Broadgreen Hospital, our elective site. Day to day work will be varied including outpatient clinics and theatre sessions. We encourage trainees to operate under supportive supervision to develop their surgical skills. A number of the consultants are deeply involved in educational roles all the way from undergraduate level to registrar level and pride themselves on training the next generation of surgeons.
