Responding to a range of calls for support from a variety of adult clinical specialties across the hospitalsite, managing and delegating their workload effectively. Assess and treat the acutely deteriorating patient to prevent admission to,or manage safe transfer to critical care in a timely manner in line with health board policy and NICE guidance (2007) Review patients on discharge from critical care within a 48-hour window, assisting in their rehabilitation and to provide ongoingmonitoring.
