Job Description
As a leading 3rd Party Logistics Provider, Information Technology is a critical part of our strategy and operation. We are looking for a Infrastructure Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure specific (site moves, networking, servers, EUC, etc) projects within the organization. You will ensure that Infrastructure delivery is completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
Ideally this position will be based in Lutterworth however other locations will be considered.
Working hours: 09.00-17.00 (Hybrid working)
* Assure a quality and timely delivery of IT infrastructure related projects
* Facilitate the definition of the infrastructure requirements and deliverables using Culina standard documentation
* Working closely with the Heads of Infrastructure and IT Operations to assure a stable, reliable and successful infrastructure delivery
* Define project tasks and resource requirements using Culina standard documentation
* Manage the infrastructure related project budget in line with business expectations and budgetary commitments
* Assemble and lead an infrastructure delivery team
* Assure timely readiness of design and build artifacts
* Develop, control and communicate the infrastructure delivery plan, timeline and milestones
* Track and report deliverables to the project team and stakeholders
* Identify and manage inter-project dependencies and critical path
* Manage delivery Risk, Issues and Changes on an ongoing basis - Highlighting appropriate risks to the PM and/or PMO
* Ensure that any deliverables requiring support in steady state are handed over to the relevant teams
* Follow applicable policies, framework, standards and guidelines that have been identified for the particular project
* Produce updates for Project / Program management as required by the PMO Framework
* Responsible for acquiring resources (internal and nominated 3rd party, if required) and coordinating the effort of the team members in order to deliver projects according to plan and budget
Qualifications
To apply for the role of Infrastructure Delivery Manager you will possess the following skills, experiences and
qualifications
:
* Logistics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
* Degree or relevant solid project management experience
* Business and/or computing related apprenticeship/degree
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering IT Infrastructure projects
* Proven experience in project delivery, people management, project planning, requirements management, change management, supplier management, risk & issue management
* Experience managing 3rd party and outsourcing vendors
* Proven experience in sponsor and stakeholder management
* Ability to 'think out the box' and when under pressure
* Excellent communicator
* Knowledge of IT applications
* Experience in the successful implementation of complex projects
* Ideally previous experience in Warehousing, Logistics, FMCG
* Willingness to travel as and where needed
