Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery - FTC

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will join a team of eight breast surgery consultants, 8 specialty doctors (including this vacancy). The department is also supported by one consultant nurse, two lead breast nurses, and ten clinical nurse specialists along with six breast radiology consultants.

Education & Professional Qualifications
* Possession of MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* Eligible for GMC registration
* Membership of relevant Royal College or equivalent MRCS
* FRCS/FEBS
Experience
* Previous work experience within an Oncoplastic Breast Surgery team
* Ultrasound skills
Skills
* Excellent clinical skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to be personally accountable for actions
* Ability to build good relationships and work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the organisation
* Ability to relate to patients from a wide range of backgrounds and to empathise with their needs and concerns
* Ability to supervise the clinical work of doctors in training and other staff
