If you are a registered childrens nurse, or expecting to receive your NMC registration this year, wed love to hear from you. Our ward provides care to patients up to the age of 16 years with a wide range of acute and elective medical and surgical needs. We have 8 beds with 2 enhanced care cubicles and deliver level 1&2 care to children and their families. You can expect to care for children with bronchiolitis, diabetes, safeguarding needs, following orthopaedic surgery, and much more You will be supported by practice educators, band 6 senior nurses, lead nurses, matrons and the wider multi-disciplinary team through your induction/preceptorship programme and on to reach your potential.
