About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead The Gables Care Home, a specialist dementia care home based in Netley Abbey. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in care home management, compliance, and operational leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, quality of care, and regulatory compliance of the home. Key responsibilities include:
•Ensuring full CQC compliance and maintaining high-quality care standards.
•Leading and developing a committed care team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
•Overseeing occupancy, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
•Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
•Promoting a positive working environment and fostering continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
•Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
•A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
•A recognised management qualification e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care
•Proven experience in staff leadership, budget management, and occupancy growth.
•A commitment to person-centred care and professional development.
