Hours: 21 hours (3 days) per week, including alternate weekends and some late nights.
We have a vacancy at the Roman Baths for a seasonal Museum Porter to join our award-winning Front of House team this Summer. The Roman Baths welcomes around 1 million visitors each year, and we are passionate about providing engaging experiences for everyone, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
This is an ideal opportunity to join our team, working in a busy, enjoyable, unique, and historical environment.
Duties include:
1. Collecting and transporting audio guides from the museum exit to the main reception.
2. Responding to visitor queries, such as helping them with directions.
Applicants must have:
1. A good general education.
2. A high standard of personal presentation.
3. A friendly manner as well as good customer care and communication skills.
4. Experience of manual handling would be an advantage.
Full training and a uniform will be provided.
