Due to the development of our service, we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Madelvic Housing Support Services team.
Autism Initiatives Scotland provides a range of person-centred services throughout Scotland to people who are 16 years old and over.
Leading by example, the Team Leader will support the Area Manager in ensuring that all staff are managed and supervised effectively and that the highest level of autism-specific practice and standards are maintained. You will also manage the staff to deliver support plans to our service users and work with healthcare professionals to ensure support plans are to the highest quality.
The role will involve supporting the Area Manager to implement the service development plan and lead on the achievement of the organisation's strategic aims at the service level.
The Team Leader will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service; therefore, you will be able to demonstrate excellent social care project management skills and have a working knowledge of current legislation relating to the social care sector.

At Tiphereth-Camphill in Edinburgh, we are seeking a Full-Time co-worker to support adults with learning disabilities and autism who live within our Supported Living Service, grow their independence, and be part of our vibrant community.
Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential. What is most important is that you have a real desire to support people to maximise their independence, have a belief in supporting people to make their choices, and to do the things they want to do. The post will involve supporting personal care and safe people handling, experience of which would be desirable.

We are currently looking to recruit support workers to join our small team within Inclusion Alliance. The role involves supporting people with learning disabilities to be included in the community and lead an ordinary life. Your work would involve helping people to access educational, social, leisure, and work or volunteering opportunities in the community.
No experience or formal qualifications are necessary for the role, although a caring nature, positive attitude, and a sense of fun are important characteristics to have. New staff will receive paid training and undertake shadow shifts with experienced staff members during induction. We want new staff to feel ready and able to work prior to working on their own for the first time.
