We’re looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Chief People Officer (CPO) and Safety & Independent Assurance (S&IA) Director.

Your role
Do you want an insight into strategic planning at a Director level? Are you a confident and effective communicator? Do you have the skills and experience to support the translation of strategic thinking into operational delivery?
This is a very rewarding role supporting the CPO, S&IA Director and their Leadership Teams.
As an EA, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Utilising your organisational and communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the CPO and S&IA offices on a day-to-day basis, including diary and email management, workload prioritisation and dealing with internal and external enquiries and complaints.
* Enabling both directors to provide effective, timely and quality support to their Senior Leadership Team, Governance Committees and the wider organisation.
* Taking the lead on communications and engagement including drafting emails, letters, Directorate communications and events, presentations, reports and Committee/Board papers.
* Supporting the Directors with governance requirements including management and engagement of internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the processes for capturing and communicating key decisions and actions are in place, understood and effective.
* Embracing opportunities to take on delegated authority to coordinate and, if appropriate, lead key projects; making tactical process decisions on behalf of the Directors and attending internal meetings to represent the views of the Directors where appropriate.
About you
We are looking for an EA, with outstanding communication skills and a calm and pragmatic approach to working in a pressurised and fast-moving environment.
We would welcome applications from experienced EA’s, or those looking to develop into an EA role. If are a Personal Assistant and / or have a strong administration background, are organised, detail-orientated and are able to work independently to support the smooth running of two departments, we would love to hear from you.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications and approach depending on the audience and desired outcome.
* Finally, the ideal candidate will have common sense, humour and a pragmatic approach to your work
