Main duties of the job All reception duties, (we are moving to a Total Triage system) including dealing with patients and repeat medications. Scanning documents and clinical coding and QOF work. To maintain confidentiality at all times. 2. Book appointments for all Clinics/Surgeries onto the System One computer system. 3. Receiving patients. 4. Dealing with telephone requests and queries from both patients and any other outside individual or agency. 5. Ensure Doctors rooms are tidy and stocked with the required stationery and clinical equipment (ie sample bottles) 7. Maintain a tidy appearance in the reception area. 8. Accept New and Temporary patients. 9. Document samples to be despatched to the hospital. 10. Arranging ambulances. 11. Ensuring Practice mail is logged and posted daily. 12.
