Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to become part of the team with an innovative signage company. The company's forward-thinking approaches have catapulted them into being an industry-leading specialist within the print and signage manufacturing world, allowing them to work with other industry leaders such as national retailers and major brands. With their location based locally, this is perfect for someone who knows the area and is happy to reach out to new and existing customers through face-to-face communication. Their goal for this individual is to build relationships with existing customers, win new business, and account manage both, focusing on Hampshire and the surrounding areas to begin with. The role will evolve nationally over time. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and extremely driven to create new business sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in signage, large format printing, or plastics with at least 5 years' experience in B2B sales.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience), OTE £50,000 - £60,000 per year. Commission structure to be discussed in the interview.
Responsibilities:
1. Reactivate the accounts of existing customers and increase the chance of a sole supply service through calling, emailing, appointment making, visiting, building rapport and loyalty, allowing the team to create bespoke designs and longstanding relationships.
2. Call, email, visit, and book appointments for new prospects/build relationships.
3. Develop and implement strategies to build your area of new business, enhancing profitability to achieve company goals.
4. Account manage new and existing customers with regular contact and up-to-date offers and promotions.
5. Update CRM system with all leads, conversations, key information, and call back dates.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and the senior management team to secure profitable partnerships.
7. Monitor your performance metrics and KPIs to drive new business and acquire new opportunities for the business.
8. Canvass potential new customers to arrange face-to-face meetings.
9. Successfully win new business and generate profitable margins.
10. Use good communication skills and your personality.
11. Be extremely self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience:
1. Preferably 2 years' experience with signage, plastics, large format printing.
2. Proven experience in a managerial/sales role, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
3. Ability to effectively manage and open new doors to win business.
4. Proactive leader in supporting and nurturing new and existing relationships.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various customers.
6. Strong problem-solving capabilities.
7. Emotional intelligence.
8. Confident with making quick decisions.
9. Bubbly and positive with a determination to win business.
10. Good listening skills.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
