Future Build Recruitment are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a large civil engineering and utilities contractor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across all projects. You will work closely with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
*
Develop and deliver health and safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
*
Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
*
Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
*
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring accurate reporting and implementation of preventative measures.
Requirements:
*
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety (essential).
*
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
*
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry standards.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams.
*
Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
