Competitive salary:
1. Training and daytime shifts: £ per hour
2. Evenings and night shifts: £ per hour
3. Weekend shifts: £ per hour.
Full Time or Part Time: we offer a variety of shift patterns including 4 on 4 off and weekends only, ranging from 15 to hours per week.

What DHU can offer you:
Working Patterns: We recognise that 9-5 doesn't work for everyone, so we have a range of working patterns available. Our friendly talent team will work with you to find the best fixed pattern for us both.
Comprehensive Training: Successful candidates will undergo 6 weeks of full-time training that you will need to be able to commit to, followed by three weeks of supported practice. You`ll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, a recognisable licence that you`ll receive on completion of training. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

What your typical day looks like:
7. Working within a compassionate and professional team of clinical experts.
8. Creating a positive impact on patients lives, providing them with telephone triage using the NHS Pathways system.
9. Providing secure, efficient, and patient-centred care.
10. Guiding patients across primary, secondary, and tertiary care.
11. Conducting clinical evaluations and offering support and guidance to fellow advisors.
12. Reflective Supervision led by supportive Clinical Leads.
To be a successful Clinical Advisor you'll need:
13. Sub-Part 1 level registration with the NMC, Registered Pharmacist or Registered Paramedic.
14. Significant post registration experience & a broad clinical knowledge base, ideally with a minimum of two years Clinical experience.
15. Experience of working within a multi-professional, clinical environment.
16. Good level of IT / PC skills.
17. Motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and a determination to provide outstanding patient care.

18. Nurse triage/telephone advice experience and competence
19. Significant post registration training/consolidation & experience in at least two healthcare settings including one in an aspect of adult general care
20. Experience of working within a multi-professional / multi agency environment
21. Broad clinical knowledge base
22. Evidence of continuous training, learning and development
23. Good level of PC literacy
24. Effective communication skills
25. Effective negotiation skills
26. Ability to obtain and process and accurately document patient/caller information
27. Sound clinical decision making capabilities ; ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical care
28. Awareness of accountability in clinical practice
29. Effective time management; able to prioritise patient care and tasks appropriately
30. Prepared to participate in service development
