Record all purchase and supplier invoices, including coding and setting up new suppliers. Post all bank transactions into accounting software. Perform bank reconciliations using accounting software. Set up payments for suppliers. Post credit card transactions to ledgers. Record business expenses in accounting software. Maintain daily records of all financial transactions. Issue payment invoices and receipts to clients. Conduct account reconciliations. Assist with statutory audits as needed. Support other accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Manage the accounts mailbox. Profile The successful Assistant Finance Manager will have: 2 years experience, eager to enhance accounting knowledge within a growing company. Proactive and self-motivated. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Excellent report-writing and communication abilities. Proficient in financial planning software, including Microsoft Excel and Sage. Able to work independently.
