Research Manager – Quantitative
Hybrid working model (3 days a week onsite)
Location: Wandsworth, London
Branding Science is looking for a Quantitative Research Manager to join the EU team. The role requires passion for quantitative research, the ability to lead project work and a team, and ideally experience working with pharmaceutical clients.
The person we are looking for is curious and driven to find the story within the data that best answers our clients’ objectives. We need you to be creative with your data visualisation, and laser focused on avoiding data overload.
You will be working alongside experienced Directors to provide you with support and training to continue to enhance your career and skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the day to day running of quantitative studies (with the support of Associate Directors or Research Directors, where necessary) – ranging from straightforward tracking to more complex studies such as segmentation and demand studies.
2. Taking ownership of the process of writing the questionnaire and the final presentation, and the coordination of the advanced analytics discussions with our expert.
3. Supporting team members in the coordination of fieldwork, development of tab specs, tables checking, link checking, etc.
4. Building relationships with the clients on existing studies, so that you are seen as a trusted advisor, providing solid methodology and analysis recommendations (with the support of the Director for the study).
5. Providing support/leading qualitative studies when capacity allows.
6. Taking ownership of, or assisting with, the preparation of the methodology and sample sections of proposals.
7. Having a clear understanding of clients’ needs, issues, and concerns, and implementing these across research projects.
8. When the opportunity presents itself, growing new business with existing clients.
Your background and experience:
1. Proven experience in quantitative primary market research and a range of methodologies including segmentation, demand/TPP tests, patient record forms, concept/message testing.
2. Extensive experience in using advanced analytical techniques such as Key Driver Analysis, Qsort/MaxDiff, Segmentation, CHAID, and Conjoint.
3. Healthcare experience is not necessary.
4. Well versed in the entire market research project lifecycle.
5. Able to write questionnaires in line with project objectives, check survey links, manage and troubleshoot fieldwork, coordinate the advanced analytics, create analysis plans, and develop a succinct story from the data that is delivered in a PPT featuring clear headlines and only the data required to tell the story.
