An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Technical Architect to provide support towards the mobilisation of a new contract on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. This role will mainly be home-based, with occasional travel to UK-based offices (most frequently to the M4 corridor).,
* Identify key requirements from stakeholders. This includes both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Engage Software suppliers (both internal and external) and agree solutions, architecture details, and timelines where needed. This can be for either the delivery of new software solutions, changes to existing systems of the definition of interfaces between systems.
* Agree and cost infrastructure with technical leads.
* Produce design documentation. This includes High-Level Designs and implementation detail for engineers to implement.
* Agree timelines and plans with all parties.
* Ensure all elements of the solution meet functional and non-functional requirements including information assurance standards.
* Support cost and project approval through governance.
* Supporting and drive standardisation throughout the business covering; processes, applications, and hardware in line with UK&I Group policy and standards.
* Support Project Managers and Business Relationship Managers through project delivery.
* Advise technical teams on implementation details.
* Engage with internal teams to agree solutions.
* Manage penetration tests. Including agreement of scope, the management of tests, and remediation.

The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. Please note that this role requires SC clearance which means you must have lived in the UK consecutively for the last 5 years. The role does not qualify for a visa under the current Government guidelines therefore to be considered for this role you must already have the right to work in the UK. Relocation costs will not be granted. You must live within reasonable commuting distance of the site.
