Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of Receptionist at The Halyard, Rope Walks Liverpool. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for Welcoming and ensuring our guests have an amazing Stay. Ensuring that all brand standards are adhered to and that excellent standards of customer service are delivered at all times.
What Are We Looking For?
About the role
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic hotel receptionist to join our front of house team. An individual who has a charismatic personality with a well-mannered and positive attitude. Someone who has the ability to stay calm under pressure, as they will be the face and welcome of the Hotel, ensuring all of our guests are made to feel comfortable upon their immediate arrival. You will be responsible for running an efficient reception area, managing bookings and ensuring a pleasant and warm experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
·Greeting guests on arrival to the hotel and making them instantly feel at ease
·Processing check-ins and explaining key facilities within the hotel including the fitness centre and on-site food and beverage offerings.
·Taking bookings by phone, email or walk ins and recording all details in our online system
·Providing advice and information about local attractions, restaurants and transport options
·Processing accurately all guest charges.
·Creating final bills at check-out and processing payments
·Helping guests with special requests, for example wake-up services and late departures
·Taking messages and passing them on to guests promptly
·Dealing with guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
·Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check-in
·Shifts are based on 5 of 7 days on a shift pattern of early, late and weekends.
