What you will be doing as a Retail/ Car Sales Manager?
As a Retail Manager at the new Stockport site, you will oversee a team of 6-8 salespeople. The role involves 70-80% team management with some direct customer sales involvement. You will work alongside another manager to ensure the site is covered seven days a week, reporting weekly on sales targets.
1. Coaching and developing staff through 121, appraisals and on-the-job support.
2. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
3. Sales Management: Implement upselling techniques and manage sales processes to achieve targets.
4. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to a team of sales professionals.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock availability.
6. Sales software utilisation: Track inventory, sales, and customer interactions using sales software.
What you require in the role of Retail/ Car Sales Manager?
1. Previous experience working in a similar role ideally as a car sales manager or retail manager.
2. Proven Sales Experience in the automotive industry.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Organisational Skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
6. Sales Management Proficiency.
7. Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
