Castle Douglas Hospital is a 16 bedded community hospital providing rehabilitation and palliative care, we also support the OPAT team as required.
We are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team on a permanent basis.
As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of person centred care within a supportive environment.
You will be expected to have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a fantastic multidisciplinary team.
We aim to deliver high quality care always showing respect, compassion and empathy and would be looking for these characteristics from applicants.
We are committed to improving patient experience and care therefore applicants should be enthusiastic and motivated so we can provide the best possible care to our patients.
You will also be involved in ongoing improvement initiatives and be given the opportunity for further development and education.
The 36 hours are rotational between days, nights and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly as required to meet service needs. This would be 12 hour shifts.
