We have run our internship scheme for 6 years and it has proven to be a huge success for both Triodos and a hugely valuable experience for the successful candidates. We have several internship opportunities available with the following departments below. These roles will have specific day to day duties, responsibilities & projects within your chosen department but there will also be the opportunity to work on business wide group projects, and with different areas of the bank too. The internship scheme runs from the start of August 2025 to end of August 2026 and is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience within one of Europe’s leading sustainable banks. Human Resources - Within this internship you will have the opportunity to work across areas such as Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Organisational Development and HR Operations. Risk & Audit - This placement rotates between the Triodos UK Internal Audit and Risk teams and supports on aspects of Operational Risk Management, Compliance Risk Management & Internal Audit, including project work and monitoring. Marketing & Communications - This placement has great variety and involves collaborating with and gaining exposure to the various areas of market and communications, such as PR & media relations, internal communications, and events. Finance - This Internship offers great exposure across our finance departments, and you will be supporting some of the key finance processes, including Treasury & liquidity management, business planning, Tax and accounting, and management reporting Operations - This placement works within our operations division who support the wider business in ensuring business processes are standardised, efficient, and in control. Focuses include continuous improvement and process management. What we are looking for: These opportunities are available to university students looking to do a placement year before returning to university to complete their final year of study. To be successful in our internship role, you will have a genuine desire to work within sustainable banking and have a keen interest in your chosen internship departments. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with an ability to work effectively with both internal colleagues and external partners. A good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel will be needed, and you will be highly motivated to learn and develop. Finally, you will be a diverse thinker with an adaptable and flexible approach, and have a genuine interest in positive social and environmental change.
