Smokefree Knowsley have an exciting opportunity for a Training Co-Ordinator to join the team. The coordinator will lead on development and delivery of training packages to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must be enthusiastic about training and raising the profile of Smokefree Services and therefore a knowledge of Smokefree would be desired. Building relationships across partners and stakeholders will be a vital role for this post and therefore good communication and people skills are essential.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
2. Completed National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training modules.
3. Possess a training adults qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
Desirable
1. Professional qualification would be an advantage that is related to public health

Essential
1. Comprehensive knowledge of issues related to Stop Smoking.
2. Ability to communicate at all levels both in written form and verbally
3. Effective management skills
4. Excellent organisation skills
Experience
Essential
1. Experience of managing or co-ordinating staff
2. Experience of establishing new systems and processes
3. Supervisory or management experience
4. Good computer skills
Desirable
1. Experience of working in a similar post
2. Experience of research and/or audit
